I’m Francisco, a software engineer based in Porto, Portugal. I am currently working at Feedzai as a Frontend Engineer, where I have been developing and contributing to solutions for financial institutions to configure and orchestrate transaction screening workflows within the Watchlist Transaction Screening solution; I also dedicate time to working as a freelancer or solopreneur, developing websites for clients or indie projects. Price Lens is my latest solo endeavour. A tool that tracks daily prices across Portugal's three biggest supermarket chains so you can see through shelf prices, understand real inflation, and make smarter buying decisions.
After working on enough projects, you start noticing how often you end up going back to old codebases to grab, tweak, or adapt pieces of code you've already written before. It feels time consuming and inefficient, and I thought I could improve on that. I wanted to create something that made it easier to skip the repetitive stuff.
For the longest time I have been expanding my settings and customizing my VS Code to make it feel like home. I finally took the time to package it all up and share it with the world. From my perspective I have created the most visually appealing and sensible theme for VS Code.
